Course objectives: To prepare leaders to recruit volunteers and interns through screening, interviewing, and onboarding and hiring staff into their organizations.

Arnita Walls, Ed.D., MSHR, has worked in human resources providing recruitment strategy and best practices in public and private sectors. Before establishing her own HR consulting practice, Arnita worked for nineteen years as a HR business partner and full life cycle recruiter. Arnita is known for leading talent recruitment initiatives, integrating best practices and improving productivity. Optimizing talent acquisition and onboarding efficiency, creating positive organizational cultures, and increasing employee retention and satisfaction have been the consistent result.

Senior leaders have characterized Arnita as a forward-thinking leader and team builder with a talent for diplomatically mediating sensitive workplace issues, mitigating organizational risk and liability, and assuring regulatory compliance.
