doable spiritual practices theme for January 2022

Every month, Faith+Lead offers the Book Hub, a free series in which authors share insights and practices from their work with church leaders around a given theme. Last January, at the official launch of the Book Hub, the theme was “Care for Church Leaders: Storytelling, Rituals and Embodied Practices for Resilience.” This was a highly experiential event with the authors, which you can experience on-demand via video or audio podcasts.

Those who participated live— including the presenters—felt cared for in the sacred space where we engaged in group spiritual practices, from breathing exercises to re-interpreting Bible stories to receiving the blessings of liturgy.

This comes through in the audio podcasts (episodes 10-13) or the video recordings of the event, which you can experience yourself or use with a group:

Set aside 90 minutes for some group spiritual practice, or experience the 25-minute segments one at a time. And join us, in the Book Hub for new author events each month.
