What You Will Learn
Sometimes the questions interrupt you in the middle of the day. Other times they keep you up at night. You wonder if you’re using all of your gifts or skills. Maybe you worry that you’ve plateaued. There’s a restlessness that’s hard to shake – a need to get unstuck, and now.
For a growing number of faith leaders, the answer to those questions is found through bi-vocational ministry. If you’re ready to be proactive instead of reactive, ready to explore all that God is calling you towards, this course is the place to start.
In our Bi-Vocational Ministry course, you’ll develop a practical framework for determining how to utilize your God-given gifts, and where to use them. You’ll also gain:
- Emotional, logistical, and spiritual guidance for pursuing bi-vocational ministry
- A personal sustainability plan to help you learn how you work best
- Necessary fundamentals – like a business plan and market demand
- Practices that allow for business growth and congregational wellness simultaneously
- Help with trust, communication, and boundaries.

Shifting Ministry Models
The role you imagined for yourself at the beginning of your ministry might be changing, and that may have left you feeling uncertain. Where does your education, your passion, and your calling fit in any other context than the one you’ve known?
This course is your chance to ask those hard questions, to gain the support and encouragement of those on the journey with you, and to envision a broader vision for how you minister (and to whom you minister).
Remember: Bi-Vocational Ministry has been practiced since the days of Jesus’ disciples. You’re in good company here.
